POWER RESTORE WORKSHOP
To find balance on the inside and the outside, we need REST just as much as we need MOVEMENT. Drawing upon 5 Element Theory and the principles of interval training, this heart themed class creatively intertwines a strength practices with deeply restorative modalities to increase heart rate variability, optimize vagal tone and encourage homeostasis within the body. It allows the body to adeptly move between the sympathetic (fight or flight) and parasympathetic (rest and digest) nervous system in one comprehensive practice, and it facilitates our deep human potential for self-regulation and healing. It’s how we foster our resilience - physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Myofascial Release Yin Workshop w/Rae
MYOFASCIAL RELEASE YIN WORKSHOP
With Rae Helsel, The Rest Movement
In this workshop, we’ll blend myofascial release and yin yoga to unwind tight fascia, improve circulation, and restore joint ease—especially through areas that tend to grip in winter: feet, calves, hamstrings, hips, low back, and the entire posterior chain. Using therapy balls and targeted techniques, we’ll apply sustained, mindful pressure to support tissue glide, reduce muscular guarding, and improve range of motion. From there, longer-held yin shapes with props help the nervous system downshift into parasympathetic “rest and digest,” supporting deeper breathing and whole-body integration.
Expect a calm, grounded practice that meets you exactly where you are—You’ll leave feeling more spacious, steady, and replenished, with practical tools you can return to that support mobility, recovery, and the Water element’s medicine of deep restoration.

Yin Yoga Teacher Training w/Rae Helsel
A continuing education immersion for Yin Yoga teachers (Yoga Alliance CE eligible), this training weaves seasonal wisdom with practical anatomy to help you teach winter-focused Yin with clarity, skill, and depth. Winter is the Water element in Chinese medicine—linked to the Kidney & Bladder meridians, the posterior chain, and the body’s deeper reserves. We’ll explore how to design classes that support recovery, tissue hydration, joint resilience, and nervous-system regulation during the most yin time of year.
You’ll be guided through the complete Winter/Water Yin + Myofascial sequence (exactly as taught in the public workshop), then we’ll break it down pose-by-pose: target areas (feet/calves/hamstrings/hips/low back), meridian emphasis, prop strategy, contraindications, and precise, accessible language for a range of bodies. We’ll also cover how and why myofascial release pairs so well with Yin.
Beyond mechanics, we’ll teach to the spirit of the season. In Chinese medicine, the Kidneys are associated with the Zhi—our steady will, inner resolve, and capacity to move forward from a rooted center. Through discussion, inquiry prompts, and intentional theming, you’ll learn how to cue Water element practices in a way that feels grounded and relevant, supporting students through fatigue, stress, and winter heaviness.
The training also includes a simple sequence of medical Qi Gong practices for Kidney nourishment: breath-led movement, gentle vibration, and focused awareness to warm the low back, support grounding, and cultivate calm, stable energy. You’ll leave with a repeatable 60–90 minute Winter Yin class template along with CE hours documented for Yoga Alliance.

In this experiential class inspired by her book Unmask Your Soul, you’ll journey through the Seven Soul Qualities using ancient glimpse meditations — short, powerful practices that offer a direct experience of your true nature.

This class will be a full practice focusing on spinal movement to strengthen and improve flexibility in each area of the spine working up to different levels of back bending postures.
Inversion Workshop w/Shannon
This class will open with a short flow to prepare the body to learn and practice the following poses: Headstand, Handstand, and Forearm stand. “Flip your perspective” and learn some tools to getting upside down.

Yoga Flow & Sound Bath
Join us for an evening of deep grounding and renewal with this 90-minute experience combining mindful movement with sound.
We’ll begin with a gentle 45-minute yoga flow designed to release tension, open the body, and prepare you for stillness. After moving through breath and body, we’ll ease into a 45-minute sound bath featuring crystal singing bowls, chimes, and calming vibrations to quiet the mind and nourish the nervous system.
This offering is open to all — come as you are.
